Dear Sir,

Recently I experienced one of those horrid intermittent faults on my Yaesu radio. I looked around the ads in Radcom in order to determine where I might send it for repair (After my local emporium in the north shut down last year). It was re-assuring to discover Engineers available at the end of the phone willing to discuss detail and sales staff keen to call and keep the customer up to date.

May I take this opportunity to thank Martin Lynch & Sons, and in particular Chris for the quick and very good value for money service I recently received when my radio needed servicing. Its good to know when things do go wrong (even out of warranty) there are people out there who can quickly help.

I am writing to you to thank you for supplying good products and advice.

When I visited your showroom to obtain a ATU for use with a long wire and my previously purchased Yaesu FT-857 you recommended a FC-40 that you had in stock.

I set up a 68ft long wire in the garden (bent into a L shape to fit it in) and was pleased to find it tuned most bands. My first contact was in Pembrokeshire using 20W. Adding a counterpoise allows the FC-40 to tune all bands from 80 to 20.

I am now looking forward to working many G stations.

Just to say thank you to Chris at ML&S for the prompt service after placing a order for a Yaesu FT-60E plus a few other items, placed the order by phone at 11.45 am on a Monday and the goods turned up at my address by post on Tuesday morning at 9am, well packed ect.

I'm very pleased with the service and would recommend them to anyone thinking of placing a order.. as for the Yaesu FT-60E its a great handheld.

Dear Sirs,

May I thank you for the excellent service you offered in supplying the Icom IC-703 this week. Although I understand that there are limited stocks, your organisation was very helpful and ture to your word in setting expectation with regards to the delivery date, and I am pleased to report it arrived today.

Just for your records here is the timeline of events:-

Monday 16th October enquired about purchasing the Icom IC-703 and was told that you would be getting a delivery from Icom on Wednesday 25th October.

Thursday 26th October you phoned to say the unit was being dispatched and have me the option of having it sent to my works QTH. (Very useful, rather than trying re-arrange delivery or travel to courier's depot to collect it).

Friday 27th October at 10:30am the rig arrived at the works QTH.

This has been very timely as I have a few travel opportunities where I would like to use the rig portable and mobile. Also in mid-November I will be teaching a Foundation Course at the Peterborough & District ARC and it will be nice to show the students a modern QPR rig which is quite unique with its built-in ATU and DSP supplied as standard.

Thank you for your hospitality when Tim M3SDE / Darran M1DAZ bought their new FT-2000's. I am sure they will be happy and also thanks for helping me choose the HEIL headset, I don't know how I have lived without it LOL!!
Drive's the IC7000 lovely, also the coffee was great. It's always a pleasure to come down to you lot and play with all the gear on show and get feedback from the staff. All fingers crossed that an FTdx9000 will be heading this way very soon if plans go well here!!

For all of the first class information you have given and the advice of equipment. Every order I have placed, it has arrived here promptly and safely. I would like to say thank you for all the advice you have given me on the LDG Z-11 Pro. My first thoughts where that it was going to be the same as the old LDG Z-11, but this is not so. The tuner has been improved, it tunes every that I have put on it! The tuner response time is so quick; it will even tune up my Miracle Whip! This is an amazing ATU, thanks again for everything.

I feel that shopping with ML&S is like talking to a member of my family, not a sales person. To this end, I intend to carry on shopping Martin Lynch & Sons.

Hi All at Martin Lynch, & Sons, Once again I must congratulate, & praise your services, & also the Royal Mail Services.

By this Monday morning, Joe ( ZB3D ), & myself, were at the parcel post office to pick up the Icom IC-7400 package deal, which was despatched from the UK, I believe it must have been midday Friday soon after the radio was ordered by phone.

The radio is now sitting in Joe's shack, with it's matching speaker, & SM- 20 base microphone, & already tested. What a wonderful package deal.

As you know I had been thinking about an FT817 for a few months, and took the plunge when I ordered my FT817 from you on Monday afternoon. I was surprised and delighted that it was delivered to my desk at work by 9.30am the following morning. Unfortunately I had to wait until I got home to have a play with it and even then I had to charge the battery first !

The first contact on this little set was on 80m CW and I got straight through to southern France, all on internal battery power. It is a remarkable package and I have only just touched upon its capabilities. Getting used to the menu system takes time and perhaps something like a single sheet laminated menu card would have been useful or even a CD with all the details, as supplied with my digital camera that cost half as much.

Still, I am very pleased indeed with this set and look forward to amazing a few more stations when I reveal to them the power I am using !
