Credit where credits due!
My day out to Lynch’s: Last week some friends of mine said, “Let’s go and drive down to Martin Lynch next Saturday for a laugh, a bimble down there and play with all the toys” Great idea, so with two cars Craig, Marti, Joe Ian and Tim all went on a jolly to Surrey. As soon as we arrived the hospitality from the Lynch Team was excellent, No sooner had we walked in the door we were greeted by “Good morning gentleman can we offer you a cup of coffee?” and …”Thanks for taking the time to visit our store” The shop is well laid out with loads of toys neatly displayed, new used and old whatever your taste. Any questions we had were researched and appropriate answers given promptly and with a smile……. But sitting on one end of the showroom were three Yaesu FT-920’s, now, Craig Marti and I were browsing websites a few weeks ago just dreaming about this radio, it’s affordable and has a button for each function instead of menu’s and is well laid out and looks the dogs whatsits! Marti, Craig and I just looked at each other as though these radios had been put there especially for us and we did laugh! A little bit of careful negotiating got us each radio at a fair price, and we only went down there to have a look hahahah. We needed two cars just to carry all the radios, and PSU back home.. An excellent day out and well worth it for an unusual Club function for a day trip.
